![]() P90s can vary quite a bit depending on era and many feel the metal covers muffle the sound a little compared to the plastic ones. I think the 330L was a wide but thin profile which would be different again.Ĭomparing the various 330s and Casinos, they can sound quite different from one to the next down to various things. ![]() A friend has a recent Elitist and it has a comfortable C profile so it doesn't feel especially small but, depending which ES330 you had, if you're comparing to the '59 reissue it's a very different neck with the '59 being huge in comparison. ![]() The neck is pretty slim - I think it's quoted at 1 5/8ths which is in the middle of vintage examples (up to 1965 the nut width was 1 11/16s, narrowed to 1 9/16ths by the end of the year). The only comprise I can see is the poly finish, but otherwise they're in no way inferior to Gibson in terms of build quality. The Elitist Casino is a beautifully put together instrument.
